‘Daisy Dines With…’ Geoff Billington - this Sunday on Horse & Country!
Not to be missed, this Sunday, Daisy Bunn is dining with show jumping legend Geoff Billington, in the last episode of the hugely popular series ‘Daisy Dines With…’ on Horse & Country.
Geoff welcomed Daisy into his Cheshire home between his busy schedule of competing, coaching, clinics, commentating at top shows, producing horses, and not forgetting to mention, his hilarious after dinner speeches.
Well known for his comedic antics, Geoff certainly kept Daisy entertained as he cooked her dinner and recalled his life as a show jumper and commentator. Legendary chef and food campaigner Jamie Oliver even sent an encouraging tweet to Geoff during the filming of the show!
Geoff started riding aged nine and bought his first pony for £10. He later sold it for £325 making a huge profit in the process and starting him out on the road to earning his living from riding and training in the horse world.
A father of six, Geoff has four sons and two daughters. He is a regular on the lecture/demo circuit and is not only a great entertainer but also highly regarded for passing on his many years of knowledge and skill when it comes to tackling the biggest and most taxing show jumping courses around the world.
Throughout this third series Daisy has given us an exclusive insight into the lives of her hosts who cook up a storm in the kitchen and then reveal all over an intimate dinner.
Hosts have included Tim and Jonelle Price, Holly Smith, Jodie Kidd and Team Stockdale. Each episode is available On Demand too.
