Speedi-Beet from British Horse Feeds is a unique beet pulp feed which can be soaked in warm water and ready to feed in just under ten minutes. Feeding Speedi-Beet warm helps to raise the horse’s core body temperature.
There's a high proportion of soluble fibre, mostly pectins in Speedi-Beet, which means its fibre is more easily digested than that found in forage (e.g. hay). Speedi-Beet can be used as a partial forage replacer at a maintenance level to help extend forage supplies.
Made using only best quality British Beet Pulp, Speedi-Beet is subjected to British Horse Feeds’ patented cooking process to produce a unique soaked feed.
Speedi-Beet is extremely versatile and provides a great source of non-heating slow release energy. It can be fed in larger quantities to a poor doer for weight gain or in small amounts to overweight horses as a carrier for a multivitamin and mineral supplement.
The low starch and sugar content means Speedi-Beet is also ideal for horses and ponies prone to laminitis.
Speedi-Beet the first and only 10 minute quick soaking beet pulp product to be approved by BETA, making it suitable for horses and ponies prone to equine gastric ulcer syndrome (EGUS).
RRP is around £12.50 - £13.50.
