With just a week to go before this year’s Bolesworth International the final preparations are hotting up and nearing completion as the 2016 event looks set for a fantastic four days.
With sporting heroes from the world of show jumping, dressage and eventing taking part the competition arenas are fit to bursting with many of the leading names travelling to Bolesworth Castle in Cheshire – June 16 to 19 - for the Ashford Farm and Equerry Horse Feeds supported show.
Olympic gold medallist show jumpers Scott Brash and Nick Skelton will both be competing at the CSI**** event while on the dressage front icons Carl Hester and Charlotte Dujardin will trip the light fantastic on the Thursday evening.
Said show president Nina Barbour: “We are now just a few days away from the 2016 event and there is much to look forward to.
“We are delighted to be attracting so many leading riders from around the world and this can only be good for the sport as we are set to watch the highest calibre competitors in action throughout the show.
“Each year we endeavour to make improvements to the showground whether it is the arenas, shopping village, catering provision or displays and entertainment and there is so much that will provide everyone with a fantastic day out.”
Evening entertainment on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday will close each day with Retake That, 5ive and Atomic Kitten set to hit the stage to add a party atmosphere to top class competition.
The new Equine Learning and Fan Zones bring a new dimension to the show with interactive talks and displays held over the four days across a diverse range of subjects from nutrition to saddlery, veterinary and hat fitting, farriery and The Road to Rio with British Show jumping Team Manager, Di Lampard.
Rider signings with equestrian icons Carl Hester, Charlotte Dujardin, Laura Tomlinson, Ben Maher, Scott Brash, Nick Skelton and Peter Charles are all planned for the Fan Zone so don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity.
General admission tickets, which include admission to the Equine Zone, are available at a pre-sale price of just £12 for the opening two days, and £18 for Saturday and Sunday, up to 40% off gate prices.
