New clipper brand, Clipperman, is delighted to announce its sponsorship of the Learning Area at
Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials. More than this, the brand is supporting the sponsored clipping event to raise money for Hannah’s Willberry Wonder Pony Charity, and is giving a percentage of sales during September to the charity too.
Clipperman officially launched just a few weeks ago with nine different styles of clippers, trimmers and shearers. The comprehensive range, which also includes additional blades, battery packs and other accessories, caters for horse owners looking to tidy up awkward areas through to those with yards full of horses in need of full clips all season long. This sponsorship is the first one for Clipperman, and will be a great way for people to learn more about the brand and see the Jewel and Jester Trimmers in action.
“We got in touch with Blenheim when we heard about the sponsored clip, which is happening to raise funds for Hannah’s Willberry Wonder Pony Charity,” said Jessica Balmer from Clipperman. “We’ve all followed Hannah’s story and thought that we could provide the kit to help the funds to be raised, and also support the other activities going in the area, where people are donating their hair to make wigs for cancer patients. This initial discussion developed and we decided to support the whole Learning Area. In addition, we will donate 10% of all sales made through www.clipperman.co.uk, on Jewel and Jester Trimmers, for the month of September, to Hannah’s Willberry Wonder Pony Charity.”
The clip will see Zara Tindall shave commentator Spencer Sturmey’s head, on live TV, during the Event Rider Masters on Sunday 11th September. Advance discount ticket prices are available online until Sunday (4th September), so book now and come and support the clip in person. So far,
Spencer has raised over £1800 for the charity.
“We are delighted to be able to support Spencer, Clipperman and Hannah’s Willberry Wonder Pony Charity in this initiative,” said Mandy Hervieu from Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials. “Having supported Macmillan in the past and with one in three people likely to get cancer, we are well aware of the devastating effect this disease can have on people’s lives. Whilst our
official charity this year is the British Horse Society, we are very much looking forward to hosting ‘the Clip’ here at Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials for this fabulous cause.”
