“I hadn’t already qualified for HOYS this year, and it’s one of those classes that if you want to qualify, you just have to go for it. I was also promised a new pair of Joshua Jones boots if I qualified so there was even more at stake!”

The success of seven year old My Premier Touch is a testament to all the hard work Olivia has put in over the last two years. “My goal is to win at HOYS this year, I have been competing at HOYS since I was jumping 138s and I always come second”. Olivia beams: “his stable name is Nando, because my trainer Di Fairough bought him from a field on the way to Nandos!”.

Olivia will be competing in the U21 Championship tomorrow where she hopes to have the same success.

Lynn Crawford and Dukes of Hazzard take second place, with Temple Bruer Amie and Alex Thompson taking third.
