The Saddle Pad Company is proud to announce the official launch of Equitex Saddle Pads at Olympia, the London International Horse Show 16th – 22nd December.
Equitex Saddle Pads have been developed in Italy by Johannes Spitaler, a specialist equine chiropractor and designed to protect the horse’s back from the pressures and impact of ridden work by adding a soft, cushioning foam layer between the saddle and the horse’s back.
This innovative saddle pad with therapeutic benefits, has been helping riders and horses across Europe for over 25 years and is available now in UK through The Saddle Pad Company.
Equitex Saddle Pads are designed to adapt to the natural fluctuations in weight, shape and condition of the horse throughout the year, helping to maintain a healthy back in both horse and rider without additional bulk under the saddle.
The Saddle Pad Company founder, Amanda Fisher says, “ I came across Equitex on my hunt to find a saddle pad for my sensitive mare who came to me with a sore back from a previous saddle. Everything I looked at was either made of wool and bulky or gel pads which she wouldn’t tolerate. When I heard that Johannes had developed a saddle pad I knew I had to try it and I’ve never looked back. It’s the only saddle pad that I use on all my horses now.
