THE exciting Demonstration Arena at Equifest brings a whole new dimension to this fantastic five day event.
Equifest is perfectly timed to treat everyone to a great day out during the summer holidays with both equestrian entertainment and family fun on offer.
As well as top class competition taking place in the many rings around the East of England Showground, Equifest includes a diverse schedule of demonstrations, master classes and activities throughout this equestrian summer party.
The Demonstration Arena is set to be packed thanks to the many and varied display on offer.
Leading event rider Ben Hobday will bring a sense of fun to his demonstration while sharing training tips and advice that have helped him climb through the ranks of British Eventing.
Younger members of the audience will no doubt be entertained and inspired by Ben’s enthusiasm and ability to pass on his wealth of knowledge and skills.
The Riding for the Disabled Association will be in attendance in their capacity as the official charity for Equifest 2015. Make sure you stop by at their trade stand to find out about the valuable work they do in helping people of all ages with disabilities, experience the freedom of riding a horse and how it would be impossible without their many volunteers.
The RDA will also be giving a demonstration of the work they do, which will provide an opportunity to showcase the wonderful horses and ponies of The RDA.
If you are looking to build a better relationship with your own horse, the UK Parelli team will be showing what can be achieved with natural horsemanship techniques.
For anyone who is perhaps not so interested in equine related activities but who has been persuaded to come along with the rest of the family, the ‘Dog and Duck display’ could prove to be the highlight of the day!
Using trained sheepdogs to herd ducks, the aim of this demonstration is to educate the audience about common dog behaviour issues and about how these can be resolved.
Throughout the day there will also be a Heavy Horse Display, Carriage Driving, Parade of Hounds, Bitting Clinic, horse and pony makeover by the team at Supreme Products and so much more.
