As the warmth of spring is upon us, paddocks may look overgrazed, poached or dry after the hard winter months.
It is important at this time of year we give our paddocks some much needed nutrients and maintenance to maximise the grass growth and to help ensure good quality grass for your horse for the year ahead.
Fertilising with Suregrow is a vital component to achieve a well-balanced paddock. It stimulates root development resulting in a denser sward which helps suppress weed growth.
Suregrow contains the major nutrients Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Sulphur needed to stimulate grass to grow.
It is the only fertiliser sold in the UK which can be spread whilst your horses and ponies remain in the field, making it really easy to use.
For large areas apply with a tractor and fertiliser spreader, for smaller areas or if you don't have access to agricultural machinery, Suregrow can be applied by hand.
Ideally spread the fertiliser before rain fall is forecast. Alternatively a heavy dew will help the pellets to dissolve or failing that they can safely remain on the surface until it rains. Suregrow is better on the field than missing it when the rain does come.
Suregrow products include Suregrow Fertiliser, CSM, Paddock Grass Seed Mix, Fast Grass, Meadow and Laminitics Grass Mix.
