Hannah Biggs Dressage and Half Moon Stud are proud to announce that Hannah Biggs has taken the ride on the stud’s own Half Moon Drambuie.
4 year old ‘Amber’ is the full sister to the European team bronze and multiple Grand Prix winning horse Half Moon Delphi ridden by Michael Eilberg.
“Having started Half Moon Delphi in her career, it's really exciting to be given the opportunity to work with her younger full sister. I'm hoping she's going to follow in her sister’s footsteps all the way up to Grand Prix!” Says Hannah.
Jon and Julie Deverill first met the Dorset based rider and trainer when she was working at Catherston Stud with Jennie Loriston-Clarke and continued to keep in touch, with Hannah helping in training some of the younger horses whilst also competing her own Grand Prix stallion Weltzin.
“We have great respect for what Hannah has already achieved with other Half Moon horses we have sold.” States Julie. “Amber is a full sister to Half Moon Delphi and a similar stamp but liver chestnut. We like to take each horse slowly so she has not yet been out at competition but we have high hopes for the new partnership with Hannah and are very excited for the future.”
“Jon and Julie are fantastic to work with,” says Hannah, “they are so passionate, enthusiastic and supportive. I'm very excited about our future together. I've really clicked with Amber and we're forging a solid partnership. She's super sensitive and powerful, but great fun to work with.”
Half Moon Drambuie will begin working towards young horse classes in 2014.
