Horse & Country and training app Ridesum announce wide-ranging content and community partnership
Leading international equestrian sports network Horse & Country (H&C) and training app Ridesum today announced a partnership that will see the two companies working together across a number of key areas. H&C and Ridesum are both digitally led organisations specialising in high quality video content, and both have extensive memberships and followings, leading to multiple opportunities for co-operation.
Ridesum is a training app that puts riders in direct contact with one of the largest pools of trainers and experts in equestrian sport. Riders can use the app to book sessions, train remotely via video streaming, and get feedback on pre-recorded video.
Initial partnership activity will focus on a content swap with H&C receiving “Long Lining with Bo Jena”, a five part series featuring the renowned Swedish dressage Chef d’Equipe and housed on a dedicated Ridesum page on the H&C site. For their part, Ridesum members will be able to see H&C’s Masterclass featuring the legendary Isabell Werth. More such swaps will be announced shortly.
Each partner’s community will benefit through reciprocal offers to the other’s platforms. Members of H&C’s streaming service, H&C+, will be able to enjoy a three-month free trial of Ridesum, whilst Ridesum members will benefit from a 15% discount on membership of H&C+.
Commenting on the partnership H&C’s Director of Content, Jonathan Rippon, said, “Training and learning is one of H&C’s core content genres and working with Ridesum will enable us to enrich this key area further. We’re also keen to add continually to our member rewards programme and Ridesum’s remote training model offers numerous possibilities here.”
For Ridesum, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer Karin Lindell commented,
“In our app we offer high quality knowledge, both from videos and trainers, that helps riders to progress faster. With smarter training at the heart of our business this partnership with a streaming and broadcast specialist like H&C enables us to connect even more passionate riders and trainers all over the world. We’re excited at the possibilities.”
H&C+ membership is just £5.99/€7.99/$9.99 a month, with no contract required. Ridesum has a range of different membership levels for rider and will soon launch a premium version for trainers. Find out more at horseandcountry.tv and ridesum.com
