HorseHage is to support endurance rider, Beth Langley, with High Fibre HorseHage whilst she competes at the Alltech World Equestrian Games in Normandy in August.
Twenty-three-year-old Beth will be competing on Mrs Cate Langley’s 16-year-old, 14hh, pure-bred Arabian, HS Ametista. The pair has already represented Great Britain five times and will be riding a route of 160km on 28th August alongside the other four team members, competing for both team and individual medals.
HS Ametista (or Tissy, as she is known at home) was bred by Mrs S Watts of Halsdon Arabians and Beth has been competing in endurance with her for nine years.
Said a delighted Beth: “I am thrilled that HorseHage is supporting us again - We have had High Fibre HorseHage at every championship that Tissy has been to.”
“I never imagined that the pony I grew up with will be the one that takes me to my first World Equestrian Games – not many disciplines can say that! I’m so excited at being part of Equestrian Team GBR! My family, who are also my very valued crew, have never missed a ride and will be out there with me. It’s wonderful to have such great support and backing from them and also my sponsors.”
High Fibre HorseHage is made from selected ryegrasses that have been allowed to mature before harvesting to attain higher fibre, lower protein and lower energy levels. This makes it a great choice for leisure horses or those resting, convalescing or laminitic. It also provides an excellent fibre source for competition horses being fed high levels of concentrate.
