Rhea Freeman of Rhea Freeman PR was delighted to give a lecture to a group of final year students at the Royal Agricultural University (RAU) in Cirencester last month.
The students are currently in their final year of an International Equine and Agricultural Business Management degree. One aspect of this three year course involves creating a new equestrian product and putting together a presentation for a group of industry experts. Rhea was asked to give a lecture to the students about PR and marketing, to help them prepare for their presentation.
“I was delighted to be asked to speak to the students at RAU and came away very excited about the future of the equestrian industry,” says Rhea. “The ideas were brilliant and a number of truly innovative products had been created. Talking about each product and looking at the USPs and how these could be marketed and promoted was really interesting and thoroughly enjoyable.”
The lecture looked at magazine advertising as well as digital, the explosion of social media and viral marketing, sponsorship, general branding and reputation management.
Rhea has been asked back to judge the final presentations, alongside a three other members of the business and equestrian world.
