Fantastic fundraiser Isabel, from Rugby in Warwickshire, is cycling to every one of Redwings’ five visitor centres across England and Scotland to raise money for us – with a little help from her father and his best friend.
You may remember her past fundraisers for us where she hiked around the Shetland Islands in 2021 and climbed some of the UK's highest mountains in 2022!
Izzy, who has just turned 13, started her journey at Redwings Mountains in Scotland on Saturday 19th August, along with her father Rich and his best friend Dave, who’ll take it in turns to ride the distance on a tandem bike with her.
The route will see them cycle 740 miles, averaging between 50 and 70 miles a day, visiting our centres at Caldecott and Aylsham, both in Norfolk, Ada Cole in Essex before finishing the tour at Oxhill in Warwickshire.
Keep an eye on our socials as we'll be sharing updates as they arrive at each of our sites and if you happen to be visiting our Norfolk centres over the Bank Holiday weekend you might even be able to cheer them on along the way!
