Lancashire based rider Julie Andrews struggled to find a feed suitable that agreed with her gelding, Jazz, until she came across Fibre-Beet.

The nine-year-old, 16.3hh Cleveland Bay X Thoroughbred has an allergy to feed which is high in protein and brings him out in lumps within hours of eating it.

Said Julie: “I have had the pleasure of owning Jazz for seven years and we have tried many different feeds but most resulted in a rash or lumps developing.

“I have been feeding Fibre-Beet for the last two years after finding it on the British Horse Feeds website.

“It has been trial and error for a long time, but Fibre-Beet is the only food I have tried that hasn't brought him out in a rash and he loves it which is fantastic!

“Along with good quality haylage, Fibre-Beet is his only feed and his coat, skin and attitude to work have changed 100 per cent for the better. He is a happy horse and I am one happy owner thanks to Fibre-Beet.”

Julie plans to continue competing in unaffiliated hunter classes and have a go at some working hunter classes and unaffiliated dressage this season.

Fibre-Beet is a formulated blend containing all the benefits of the original Speedi-Beet product, with added high quality Alfalfa for optimum condition and topline. It is designed to help maintain weight and promotes a healthy, shiny coat.

Fibre-Beet also provides a good range of minerals, trace elements and amino acids and it is high in fibre with a low sugar content.

Ideal for horses prone to digestive upsets and very palatable for fussy eaters, Fibre-Beet has added biotin for hoof quality and is suitable for laminitics.
