For the fourth year running KBIS British Equestrian Insurance are delighted to announce a fantastic opportunity for NSEA members to gain an insight into what it would be like to be a sponsored rider with the chance to win a £500 training bursary.
The bursary competition will be split between the age categories; 13 years and under and 14 years and over; a winner will be chosen from each category.
Each winner will receive the following:
- £500 towards training with an accredited trainer of their choice
- Lessons with KBIS sponsored rider Izzy Taylor
- Branded clothing for both horse and rider
In return for this, winners must write monthly blogs and include photos and videos where possible of their progress.
How to enter:
Entrants must submit a video no longer than 3 minutes and complete the entry form on the KBIS website by Friday 28th April 2017.
“We are delighted to be opening the bursary for a fourth year, it is always really fun to watch the bursary winners come on through the year and to be kept up to date with their progress through their blogs. I think it is a wonderful opportunity for up and coming riders to experience what may be required of them if they wish to look for sponsorship in the future” said Emma Prest, Sponsorship Manager, KBIS.
Josh, the 2016 14 years and under winner added "Having won the bursary opportunities have arisen which would never have been available to me previously. I have been able to have lessons with top trainers which improved my riding and the horses way of going to no end. The support from Emma and her team at KBIS has been hugely beneficial and for that I am sincerely grateful. Being interviewed at the U18 championships and wearing the KBIS kit at competitions had been an amazing experience and great fun. I can't recommend the bursary enough."
