Leading event rider, Lissa Green brings her wealth of knowledge to HorseFest this July at Weston Park in Shropshire.
Lissa, 5* event rider and daughter of the legendary Lucinda Green, will be at HorseFest not only passing on her training and producing skills but also to talk about her eventing journey so far in her chosen sport.
HorseFest runs July 23 to 25 with Lissa attending on the Sunday, July 25 with appearances in the Main Arena, Large Talks Venue and Workshop Venue.
‘Training for Imperfection’ will be the theme in the Main Arena with Lissa bringing the concept to life with her young horses as they go through gymnastic exercises, related distances and lines, and working towards the importance of trust and straightness.
In the Large Talks Venue, Lissa will talk about her eventing journey which she freely admits has not all been plane sailing with her team of horses while the focus in the Workshop Venue will be a Q&A focused on jumping technique and training with the young horse.
Said Lissa: “I am delighted to be attending HorseFest, it looks set to be a fantastic event and something to look forward to during the summer months.
“Weston Park is an impressive venue and I am thrilled to be on the panel of experts over the weekend.”
