We all want our horses to get the best care, but we can’t be with them all the time and we want them to be safe and well looked after when we leave them at the yard.
The LIVERYLive app has been designed to make running livery yards easier and more efficient. It is also designed to create a safer environment for horses, their owners and the team that look after them on the yard. We all know how unpredictable horses can be, even the sensible ones, and sometimes the yard needs to react quickly and safely.
Yards that have the LIVERYLive app can send notifications to let everyone know that the hunt are in the area or that there is a new horse arriving. Emergency medical contacts for horses, owners and yard staff are easy to find and instantly retrievable, to improve response times. When a new member joins the team, they can see a horse’s individual care records so there is no need for them to have to use their initiative (and possible make the wrong decision) because procedures are documented and can be updated instantly.
Health and safety procedures are available on the app and records can be kept and updated accordingly. Horse behaviour is also logged on the app for new member briefings and can be updated if circumstances change eg if a mare is in season or if a horse becomes head shy etc. The app can make sure detailed care regimes are followed, to make sure your horse has the right boots on, is wearing the correct rug and has had all its supplements. Exercise and rehabilitation plans can be followed, monitored and changed when necessary.
