Maria Eilberg Wins Cavalor Inter II Premier League at Addington Manor Equestrian Centre
Maria Eilberg, dressage star has qualified for the prestigious British Dressage National Championships.
Professional dressage rider Maria Eilberg and Royal Concert took the Cavalor Inter II Premier League title with a fantastic score of 71.53% at Addington Manor Equestrian Centre.
Maria Said: “I’m really chuffed to have won the Inter II and to have qualified directly for the Nationals.”
Owned by Hermione Black and German bred by Royal Diamond, Royal Concert is 16-years-old and stands at 16.2hh.
The Cavalor Premier League winner has won numerous classes with Royal Concert being very successful at Small Tour and Middle Tour, Nationally and Internationally.
Maria first started competing Royal Concert in 2013 at Advanced Medium Level and has since made the transition to Big Tour. Maria said: “He really enjoys his Grand Prix Freestyle which has been composed by Gary Patterson.”
Based at home, in Worcestershire with her family, Maria has always been influenced by horses and encouraged by her father, Ferdi Eilberg the well-known professional dressage rider and trainer.
Maria first started to focus on dressage more seriously when she was 15-years-old, before then she had tried a bit of everything.
Sponsored by Amerigo, Bucas, Fleck, Sprenger and Uvex. Maria’s aim for this year is to do well at Premier Leagues and qualify for the National Championships at both Inter II and Grand Prix level.
Said Maria: “I am aiming to do a couple of home Internationals and in the autumn I may compete abroad.
“I would love to get onto a Nations Cup team with Royal Concert and dare I say it, Tokyo next year!”
