Meet Norman, the official mascot to the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2014 in Normandy France.
Norman is proud to represent the 2014 games as his family is steeped in Games history. Norman’s parents met at the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Kentucky. Norman’s mother is a show-jumping champion from Normandy, and his Father an America Reining champion.
Born on 26th November 2011 in Caen Normandy, it was inevitable that he would continue the family connection with the World Equestrian Games and his career as the official mascot to the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2014 began.
In the months leading up to the games Norman will be a horse with a mission visiting events across Europe sharing his passion for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games and raising awareness that the countdown to the games has started.
Once the games get underway Norman will act as Captain of all the supporters, leading the cheering, celebrating with the winners and consoling those whose events don’t go so well!
Norman is a born leader and is always in a good mood, never getting tired of meeting people; he will welcome spectators and be happy to pose for a picture. A trip to the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games will not be complete without a souvenir photo of you and Norman.
He will offer his full support and motivation to competitors of all 8 equestrian disciplines being completely impartial and encouraging good sportsmanship.
Normans aim at the end of the games is that everyone involved from competitors, spectators and all the many volunteers will have had an enjoyable two weeks that will live on long in everyone’s memories.
So, if you are planning a trip to the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2014, remember to look out for Norman, he will be disappointed if you don’t!
