Mirrors for Training has launched a new budget set of arena mirrors, offering riders a way to own four arena mirrors for just £1000 including delivery to UK mainland.
The mirrors are 8ft x 4ft (2440mm x 1220mm) in size and are made using 4mm mirror rather than the 6mm mirror that’s used in the professional version. They are backed and framed in galvanised steel, have safety film and impact absorbing cushioners, and also come supplied with installation brackets for fitting.
“Not everyone can afford professional arena mirrors, so we put our thinking caps on and had a look at how we could make a lower priced set for people on a tighter budget,” says Andrea Miles of Mirrors for Training. “The mirrors are still non-warp, and we won’t compromise on safety, so we were left with the thickness of the mirror. The budget option mirrors are 4mm thick rather than our usual 6mm thickness. The clarity is still very good, but there is a difference between the two, as you’d expect. They’re perfect for those looking to perfect their position and improve the way that they ride, but we find that professional riders still prefer the 6mm version due to the ultra clear reflection, which is what’s needed for smaller corrections.”
To order a set of four budget mirrors for £1000 including delivery, see www.mirrorsfortraining.co.uk/ or call 01902 791207. An installation option is not available on the 4mm arena mirror set – DIY installation is required.
