The new Therapeutic Support Boot Air from Italian protection specialist, Zandona, features 18 magnets that improve cellular function and provide natural therapeutic support from the hoof to the knee and/or hock.
The boot has been developed to provide support to the suspensory ligaments and tendons and can be used for travelling and to help decrease post-work swelling. Magnet therapy is said to have analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects as well as accelerating cellular processes, lactic acid absorption and elimination of toxins.
The inside of the boot has a padded CoolMax® lining - a special wicking material that carries moisture towards the outer surface of the fabric, to keep skin dry, and this lining is removable for washing. Spare linings can be purchased separately.
The boot has wide elastic straps with velcro fastenings, optimising support and comfort.
The magnets used are composed of a highly magnetic alloy of neodymium, iron and boron with nickel coating, capable of exerting a magnetic flux density of 2600 gauss each. The specific arrangement of the magnets, their flux density, intensity and polarization has been studied with the help of veterinarians and professional riders to maximise the localised increase in vascular blood flow and lymphatic circulation using the principles of reflexology.
The Zandona Therapeutic Support Boot Air is available for front and rear limbs in Black in sizes S,M,L or XL.
RRP: £163
