One of Europe’s leading manufacturers of plastic equestrian products, Classic Showjumps, has become one of the only firms in the UK market to deal exclusively with retailers, with the launch of a trade-only sales strategy.

The launch of Classic Showjumps’ new trade-only policy comes as the Lancashire firm, part of family firm Excelsior Roto Moulding Ltd, announces a 300% increase in turnover over the last five years.

Classic Showjumps’ product manager, Karen Fielding, said:  “We are proud of the growth we have achieved, which we attribute not only to the quality of our products, but also to the support we give our retail stockists and resellers.  We are confident that our new, trade-only policy will generate substantial further benefit.

“Speed of delivery has always been a priority, as has the accommodation of trade orders of any size, and our manufacturing status has given us an advantage in these areas.  Ongoing investment in machinery and stock control systems will facilitate the increasing efficiency with which orders are handled.

“Next year we will be further developing our retailer support offer, details of which will be announced accordingly.”

Classic Showjumps’ range of plastic equestrian products includes showjumps, mounting blocks, storage equipment and accessories, and is developed with the support of sponsored riders, including Olympic medalist Caroline Powell and Rachael Horton (formerly Stanley).

Manufactured using the rotational moulding technique, Classic Showjumps’ equipment features single-piece, joint-free, premium UV stabilised polyethylene.  It is highly durable, will not discolour and is easy to clean.  The company’s range is available in an industry-leading 11 colours.
