Equithème have a great team of riders and ambassadors and are always looking for new and upcoming talent that can join their UK team. 15-year-old Sophie Williams, based in North Wales, has had great success competing with her dressage ponies.
Some of Sophie’s greatest achievements include being selected for the British Dressage Pony Prime Squad from 2015 – 2018, representing Great Britain at 14 international competitions between 2015 -2018 on her two FEI dressage ponies, Ferrari and Ella.
With these two top rides, Sophie achieved many top placings with scores of 70%+.
Sophie was also short-listed for the GB team for the European Championships in 2017 with Ella and was also long-listed this year. 2018 marks the end of her time on ponies as she is growing up and has developed a new partnership with a talented new horse, Zante.
With the GB Junior Prime Squad in mind, Sophie is extremely excited and is putting a lot of hard work in to being ready as she is currently training with Sarah Higgins.
Sophie also wants to aim for high scores at Advanced Medium and represent GB at FEI Junior level at international competitions.
