Quob Stables Equestrian Centre in Durley are holding their annual Family Fun Day on Monday 2nd May, this year raising money for Naomi House & Jacksplace and The Teenage Cancer Trust at Southampton General Hospital.
Visitors can enjoy a fabulous free day out for all the family with pony rides, face painting bouncy castle and a Jungle Bus as well as a range of craft stalls and Most Gorgeous Dog Competition (bring your own dog!).
The Hayrack Cafe will be open with a fully licensed bar and we’ll be sparking up the BBQ so make the most of the bank holiday and join us for a day to remember.
There will be a host of equestrian displays from local riders with Crown and Empire kicking off the day off with a Napoleonic display featuring some of Quob's own horses. 8 times European Junior Western Champion and Bronze Medallist Tammy Greaves will be demonstrating Western Riding and Patrick Kempe and his Lusitano, Tetuã will be performing a Flight of the Flags training demo. Finally there will be a dressage demo from Hampshire based dressage rider Sadie Smith, who has 12 National titles, 10 Regional titles to her name, started her riding career her at Quob Stables.
