Ranch Rider Adds Jordan To Its List Of Riding Holiday Destinations
Leading riding holiday specialist, Ranch Rider is adding Jordan to its collection.
This is the tour operator's first foray into Asia, the new horseback adventures offer opportunities to follow in the footsteps of the Nabateans and the Bedouin. Both Jordan holidays last for 10 days and include six days of riding, with the option of a Red Sea or Amman extension. Prices start from £1,500pp (two sharing).

Authentic travel at its best, we traverse vast swathes of desert with the Bedouin tribe, who are our guides and camp hosts, many of the locations we visit known only to these nomadic people."
Many of the travellers who come to Jordan are looking to retrace the journey of Captain T.E. Lawrence, the iconic 1960s film, Lawrence of Arabia, which was loosely based on his adventures, putting the country on the map. The legendary site of Wadi Rum with its towering canyons and the Rose Palace of Petra remain a huge draw to this day.
All of Ranch Rider's Jordan riding holidays start and finish in Amman with guided visits to Madaba and Petra.

Excludes gratuities as left to discretion and return flights. Departing 01 and 29 October and 17 and 24 December.

Guests should be physically fit as you will be riding for up to five hours per day and they must be able to trot and canter comfortably. 12 years and above. Jordan is easily reached on a direct flight from London Heathrow in only five hours. Spring and autumn are the best time to travel as the desert climate of hot days and cold nights are milder
