The team at Equifest 2015 are delighted to announce their chosen charity for the five day event is Riding for the Disabled Association.

 Held at the East of England Showground, Peterborough, August 12 to 16, the event promises to be an action packed spectacular, with incredible showing, shopping, celebrities and brilliant demonstrations plus the opportunity to meet the team behind RDA.

 RDA will be in attendance on their stand so make sure to stop by, say hello and find out about the valuable work they do helping people of all ages with disabilities, experience the freedom of riding a horse.

 There will also be plenty of fundraising happening with all the proceeds from the shop and drop going towards the charity.

 Said Ed Bracher, RDA Chief Executive: “RDA is delighted to be the chosen charity at this year’s Equifest.  Being at Equifest will really help raise awareness of RDA and we are looking forward to meeting visitors who want to find out more about the work we do and how they can support us.”

 RDAhorses and ponies provide therapy, achievement and enjoyment to people with disabilities all over the UK, while the network of 500 volunteer groups organise activities such as riding, carriage driving, vaulting and show jumping for up to 28,000 people each year.

 The wonderful team at RDA has been carrying out life-changing activities for more than 40 years, and take great pride in the exceptional standard of their instructors and volunteers, of which there are 18,000 people in all.

 RDA will be running a demonstration on the work they do showcasing their wonderful riders, horses and ponies.

 Paralympic Gold Medallist, and award winning rider Natasha Baker, who started her career with RDA, will be doing a demonstration on the Saturday and Sunday.
