Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) has launched a new website to better reflect the organisation in its 50th anniversary year.
The new site, still at www.rda.org.uk, has a clear focus on attracting new participants, volunteers and donors. It’s bright and vibrant new look brings the site in line with the fresher style RDA has adopted recently.
Visitors to the website can discover more about the impact of RDA’s life-changing activities, find their nearest group and meet some of the participants, coaches and horses who make it all happen.
The website will also be a shopfront for RDA’s anniversary year, telling the story of how it all began. In March, the site will host the charity’s ‘50 Faces’ campaign, challenging preconceptions about disability, equestrian sport and volunteering through some of the people who make up the vast RDA community around the UK.
RDA Chief Executive Ed Bracher said: “In our 50th anniversary year we will be shining a light on the impact of our work like never before, and it is vital that we have a website that supports us. When people find out about RDA we want them to visit our site and feel inspired to give their time, give their support or to find their nearest group and join in.”
Communications Manager, Caroline Ward said: “The design and development team at Red 13 Digital have helped to bring RDA to life on screen and given a real boost to our online presence. We will be driving new visitors to the site throughout our 50th anniversary year. The website may be the first experience people have of RDA, a springboard to what will hopefully be a life-enhancing partnership with us.”
The site includes a postcode search to help visitors locate their nearest group, easy online donations, information about the impact of RDA’s work and the opportunity to subscribe to the free quarterly RDA Magazine.
