SMB College Group is proud to be celebrating a highly successful Results season for its Equine and Land-based students!
Brooksby Campus is the College’s specialised land-based site which houses the Brooksby Equestrian Centre, with some truly fantastic facilities for students, including an indoor riding arena, outdoor floodlit arena with British Show Jumping approved jumps and a state-of-the-art Equine Rehabilitation Centre.
Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Equine Management students achieved a 100% pass rate with 48% of students getting at least one distinction, and 80% of students achieving a high grade! Subject areas with fantastic Level 3 pass rates also included Agriculture & Farming, Countryside & Environmental Management and Animal Management.
14 learners from the college’s Level 3 Animal Management programme even received the very top possible grade, D*D*D*
On the day, we spoke to Ezra and Eva about their achievements, Eva was really proud to have achieved D*D*D* in Level 3 Animal Management, stating that she’d worked very hard this academic year. Ezra achieved DDM in Level 3 Horticulture and is planning to take a year out before progressing onto university!
Further successes come from Savannah Ward and Cono Brown, who achieved DDD* and D*D*D*, respectively, and will both shortly be taking the next step towards their dream careers by studying Veterinary Nursing at Askham Bryan!
Level 2 students also did really well on their results, with 100% of students passing their Level 2 Equine & Horticulture qualifications and over half of Equine students receiving Distinctions!
