British Horse Feeds extended their endurance sponsorship this year and were the proud new sponsor of the British Riding Clubs Endurance Team Event. The prestigious event, organised and hosted by Endurance GB, came to an exciting end with the final taking place at the famous Lion’s Tail Ride near Rutland.
British Riding Clubs members were able to get a taste of what endurance is like by forming a team of three to six riders to enter in one of the EGB rides that were held throughout the country.
All the top team riders who qualified were entered into the prestigious final.
The day was a huge success with some great results including the Wessex Wanderers winning the Top Team Trophy, followed by the Cherwell Valley Chargers placed in second and National Forest coming third.
Chapel & District pulled out a great performance and won the Top Novice Team.
Spilsbury Cassidy Kid and Ann Raymont were awarded the Top Horse prize, with Woodstock Rocky and Sarah Madgwick closely behind and Kilteeven Ginger Mist and Lisa Hayworth coming third.
Top Individual Combination was awarded to Herbert Sherbert and Gill Hensley and rounding off these fantastic results were Lottie Dennett and Templehill Jasper winning the Top Junior class, Cody Ritson and Lloyd claiming second and Tom Dennett and Etherow Extrovert taking third place.
