At a star studded event in Harrogate, TopSpec, well known for their range of feed balancers and other innovative horse feeds, won the Best Rural Business category at the Harrogate Advertiser Business Awards
The 10th anniversary celebration of the awards was held at the Majestic Hotel and brought together leading businesses throughout the Yorkshire region.
The gala evening attracted a large audience all keen to celebrate the region’s best businesses and business people. Guests were treated to a fantastic dinner before the awards ceremony began and this was followed by the presentation of 13 prestigious awards including the Best Rural Business section, sponsored this year by the Yorkshire Agricultural Company.
Pickhill-based TopSpec held off stiff competition to secure the prestigious prize, much to the delight of everyone in this forward thinking team.

“We try very much to work with the local community and alongside regional suppliers while also employing people based in the area to work at head office.
“We would also like to thank all those who contribute to the success of TopSpec, including customers who spread the word about the effectiveness of our products.”
In choosing a winner, the judges were looking for a business that makes a positive contribution to the rural community and economy.
They were seeking a company that had remained resilient through the recession and has strong marketing skills behind them to progress successfully in the future.
