The British Equestrian Trade Association is pleased to welcome back PR and marketing company TSM for a second year as sponsor of its Social Media Award – one of 10 BETA Business Awards designed to recognise individuals and companies making significant contributions to the equestrian industry.
“Social media is becoming an ever-increasing part of the marketing mix, whether promoting a product, brand, event or service, and it is great to see that the equestrian and related communities have embraced this medium in recent years,” said Tim Smith, of TSM. “The TSM Social Media Award goes from strength to strength, with more thought-provoking campaigns to catch everyone's attention and imagination. We are seeing a huge increase in films and video clips used across Facebook, giving a 'live' experience to fans, and no doubt there will be many new advances to come over the next few years.”
BETA executive director Claire Williams added: “It's fantastic to have TSM on board once again to sponsor the most recent addition to the BETA Business Awards. The Social Media category was introduced in January 2015 to reflect changes in the business environment and the importance of digital marketing. It has been extremely well received and continues to attract considerable interest from both trade and consumers.”
The TSM Social Media Award recognises companies that have embraced social media and use it as a powerful tool throughout their marketing strategy. It is one of four 2017 BETA Business Awards that attract consumer and trade feedback. Nominations are now open for this award and companies can put themselves forward. Nominations are also invited from third parties, stating why they think the nominee should win. An entry form must be completed by the company nominated and the final decision will be made by a panel of judges.
Nominations should be made by 2 December 2016 online at www.beta-uk.org/ or by email to laurac@beta-int.com. The winner of the award will be announced during the BETA Gala Dinner, at the National Motorcycle Museum, near Birmingham, on Sunday 22 January.
