Veterinary Gamgee® is a veterinary version of the original Gamgee® which Robinson Healthcare began manufacturing in 1885.
An ideal addition to any first aid kit, Veterinary Gamgee® is used to promote wound healing by insulating, cushioning and protecting wounds from external trauma.
Veterinary Gamgee® consists of a thick layer of superior quality, highly absorbent cotton wool enclosed in a choice of either traditional gauze or a non-woven cover.
Supplied as 500g rolls and available in 30cm or 45cm widths, Veterinary Gamgee® is ideal as a highly absorbent secondary wound dressing, or applied over Animalintex®, Activate® or Skintact® wound dressings prior to bandaging to provide warmth and padded protection to the wound site.
It can also be cut and used to gently swab around a wound using a saline solution.
